The fun-day Fridays series continues on the South African music scene as DJ Milkshake unleashes a savage of a joint titled Savage. The line up is even more savage as it features heavyweights, Da L.E.S, Nadia Nakai and Maggz.
With this royal cast-set, you can expect nothing but fire with Savage and fire it is. Starting with DJ Milkshake. He might have featured AKA on the hit song, Living On The Edge; he is definitely set to take things even further with this latest banger.
The talented disc jockey whose real name is Kagiso Mabelane has shared stage with some iconic figures on the global music circuit, including Wale, Ne-Yo, and DJ Fresh. The Soweto, Johannesburg-born man simply makes magic with music and this shines through on Savage.
Da L.E.S is still enjoying a massive roll this year, 2016 and he’s still up to something. The North god whose real name is Leslie Jonathan Mampe just completed a smash year when he featured Family Tree Records multi-talented act on Lifestyle. Music fans were truly entertained and Da L.E.S brought his lyrical prowess to bare on this latest Savage.
Nadia Nakai‘s success this year also puts her on the very top of the hip hop circuit and shows why she’s the boss lady. The Money Free damsel dropped her Bragga EP to critical acclaim this year. This, in addition to other stunning songs such as The Man featuring Cassper Nyovest and the recently released Sqwaa which featured Gemini Major and Tshego.
Maggz only sought to complete the rout of fire on Savage. The hip hop genius has also cooked some stunning efforts including Vaye and even The Break Out album. Plus, he enjoys a good outing on each and every collaboration he has featured on and this one is no different.
This is why this is the joint of fire we’ll be burning the stages and social gigs with going into the yuletide season. DJ Milkshake scores an A+ on this effort and for that we give a standing ovation and salute.
